Posted: 25 May 2021 # Now Is The Time To Diversify #### Accountant's Minute 271 The CommBank Accounting Market Pulse Report released 3.1/2 weeks ago identified that, from the surveys that they had conducted with accountants all over Australia, only 5% of those firms “would not be diversifying services in the next 12 – 18 months”. These firms were from the group that the CommBank report identified as “lagging firms”. The firms which the CommBank referred to as “leading firms” indicated that they would all be undertaking diversified activities during the next 12 – 18 months. A staggering 90% of the “leading firms” indicated that they would be undertaking organic growth, which involves expansion by “expanding their product range”. 67% of the “leading firms” identified that they would be developing new services in the next 12 – 18 months.
